After Valentina Riccio, who spoke of an alleged betrayal, Antonio Panico has decided to tell his truth. “It’s time for me to give my side of the story about our relationship too.” the former protagonist of the 13th edition of Temptation Island. When asked by Lorenzo Pugnaloni, the Campanian recalled his marriage proposal in the program, reiterating that he made it because he really wanted it, clarified the nature of his relationship with the “famous” Francesca and confirmed the end of his relationship:

I start from the assumption that I loved Valentina, there is still feeling and respect for what she was. The marriage proposal was not a choice of visibility, also because no one forced anything on me. In the village I experienced such strong and deep emotions, of fear, that I felt like making that gesture with all my heart. I didn’t want to deceive anyone, much less myself, that my life story leads me to now already have a marriage behind me with a little girl. I certainly didn’t do all this for visibility, in fact I thought it was the right and heartfelt choice. Today things between us are absolutely not going well, there’s no point in denying, pretending. She doesn’t trust me, at any time of the day. It’s always a challenge, a war for both of us, we don’t listen to each other, we don’t understand each other, we no longer have words to tell each other. What you say is true: over time I have been more absent and she has been increasingly oppressive. But I can’t deny that today I can’t move forward. Francesca is a friend of mine from school. I saved it in my phone as ‘Kekk’, but no one wanted to hide anything. There was an exchange of messages, but I have no interest in any person, girl, woman. I didn’t make any mistakes. Unfortunately today, reluctantly, I make this statement to thank you for the affection you have given to my relationship and to me and Valentina. But unfortunately, for the moment, our paths must part ways to better understand and know the future of our lives.
