A few weeks after his victory at L’Isola dei Famosi, Aras Senol gave a long interview to Superguidatv in which he took stock of his journey in Canale 5 reality show hosted by Vladimir Luxuria and broke the silence on relationship born in Honduras with the other castaways, especially with the chef Edoardo Franco:
They are all my friends, what happens on the Island stays on the Island and we must not forget that in the end it is just a television programme. Real life and true friendship are more important than this. I’m not a person who strategizes and I’m not a person who talks behind another person’s back, when I talked to Artur about the anti-mosquitos I told him that I didn’t want to talk behind his back, that’s why what I had to say to him I said it to your face. I always talk to people face to face because I like it, otherwise it would be fake. I have already explained why I nominated Edoardo Franco, Edoardo Stoppa had saved me in one of the challenges and then I saved Eduardo Franco and I think that if I reached the semi-final, it was thanks to him because before the final nomination, I had only nominated once Karina. But after nominating Franco again, I told him that I had nominated him and that at that moment I didn’t know that we should nominate two people because I didn’t understand what Vladimir had said. I told the whole group that Edoardo Stoppa was the most deserving to win on the show. I have to be honest, I’ve said it all the time. Now I won and I’m really happy about it. I still feel like I’m in a dream, I didn’t realize what I did because as I said before I never thought I’d win. The most strategic? I think there is more than one, but the name is not important because if someone needs to strategize, that’s fine. I have never made a strategy, but if a person did, I can’t say why, it was his decision.
