Marvin Jones III and other additions to the Criminal cast
Marvin Jones III (Halo), Michael Xavier (Wild Cards) And Dominic Burgess (Palm Royale) have joined the cast of Prime Video’s upcoming series Criminal with a recurring role. In the adaptation of the comic of the same name by Ed Brubaker will be respectively Chester, the fearsome right-hand man of the crime boss Sebastian Hyde (John Hawkes); Terry, a good friend of Leo (Charlie Hunnam), a ruthless armed robber with a big heart; and Delron, a portly man with a big appetite waiting to be tried and at the mercy of some big shots of the criminal organization he works for.

Alexi Hawleythe mind behind the hit crime drama The Rookieis collaborating with the Lionsgate Television studio on the development of The Envoya TV series based on a recent article by award-winning journalist Adam Ciralsky for Vanity Fair. The piece, titled Take No Prisonerstestifies to the work over the course of a year by Roger Carstens and his colleagues, members of a special team working towards the release of American hostages held throughout the world. The Envoy will offer an in-depth look at the US government’s commitment to freeing hostages in different scenarios each season.
House of David puts a face to its biblical characters
After a long search, Prime Video has revealed the cast members of House of David, a new historical drama that traces the story of the rise of biblical icon David. The future king of Israel will have the face of Michael Iskandera rookie. Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) will be King Saul. The latter’s wife, Ahinoam, will be played by Ayelet Zurer (The man of Steel). Stephen Lang (Terra Nova) got the role of Samuele. Martyn Ford (Mortal Kombat 2) will be Goliath. Indy Lewis (Industry) And Yali Topol Margalith (The Auschwitz tattoo artist) will take on the role of Michal and Merab, Saul’s daughters. His son Jonathan, the legitimate heir, was entrusted to Ethan Kai (Carnival Row). Oded Fehr (Star Trek: Discovery) will play Abner, the king’s cousin and general. Louis Ferreira (Shogun) And Davood Ghadami (EastEnders) landed the roles of Jesse and Eliab, David’s father and older brother, respectively, the latter a decorated warrior in the king’s army. Ashraf Barhom (Tyrant) will finally be Doeg, a mysterious Edomite.

Netflix announced with a teaser trailer that Twilight of the Godsa new animated series created and executive produced by himself Zack Snyder Of Rebel Moon, will be available for streaming on September 19th. Billed as “a bold and spectacular new interpretation of Scandinavian mythology”, Twilight of the Gods tells of a mythical world of great battles, glorious deeds and deep desperation where Leif, a mortal king, is saved on the battlefield by Sigrid, a relentless warrior with whom he falls in love. On the night of their wedding, the two survive Thor’s terror, which pushes them against all odds to embark on a ruthless mission of revenge together with a group of crusaders.
