The 2023-2024 television season is coming to an end, and soon most of Rai’s best-known programs will say goodbye to the public at home, in the hope of welcoming them back in September. Here is the calendar of closures of the main broadcasts on Viale Mazzini.

Here we are: just a few more weeks and the 2023-2024 TV season will officially end. This will take place between the end of May and the last week of June, when some of the most popular Rai and Mediaset programs will greet the public at home. A decidedly particular and difficult season, which saw the boom of some shows that few would have bet on and instead the debacle of others that were widely considered favorites by viewers.
At the beginning of July, therefore, there will be presentations of the schedules by the main networks, during which the future of many programs still on air and the news in store by the networks for the next television autumn will finally be known. For professionals, this is a key period in which the respective managements will officially communicate decisions regarding some crucial issues, and This year there is great anticipation, especially for the official announcement of the new host of Sanremo 2025 and the fate of programs such as Pomeriggio 5 and La Volta Buona. For the moment, here is the updated calendar on the closures of Rai 1 shows.
Rai programming, when the main programs on Viale Mazzini will close
The first to greet viewers will be Uno Mattina, Tg1 Mattina, Storie Italiane, È semper midday, La vita in diretta and La volta bene, which will stop on Friday 31 May, leaving room for summer programming. Affari Tuoi, the latest edition hosted by Amadeus, will greet the public on Saturday 1st June, and so will Italia Sì, Linea Verde Tipico, Northwest Passage, and Ciao Male. Closing the doors for this 2023-2024 season, Sunday 2 June will then be Uno Mattina in famiglia, Domenica in, perhaps the last edition hosted by Mara Venier, Da noi… a libero, Linea Verde, and L’editore.
On 7 June it will be the turn of farewells for Tv7, followed by Cose nostri on Monday 10 June and on 13 June Porta a porta and Cinque minuti conducted by Bruno Vespa. Bringing up the rear of the final greetings will be Good Morning Wellbeing, which will be broadcast with the last episode on Saturday 29 June. AND as regards the next TV season, there is already talk of Elisa Isoardi’s possible arrival at the Viale Mazzini flagshipwhere according to rumors a container dedicated to well-being and health would be ready for her, while Francesca Fialdini could instead move to the third network, thus leaving the hosting of Da noi… freewheeling.
