In the last episode of Mosquito, Giuseppe Cruciani he commented thus on his visit to the Turin International Book Fair: “The most incredible thing I witnessed – said the host – is that numerous intellectuals, on that occasion, but one could say every day, every single day, shout about government censorship, about illiberal Italy, about the authoritarian danger . And they do it every day, every minute, from book festivals, from various festivals, from newspapers, from radio, from television, all immensely free. But aren’t these people ashamed? They should be ashamed. They talk about authoritarianism, about illiberal Italy, about authoritarian danger, about censorship. But damn them!”
Immediately afterwards, Cruciani commented on the issue of the niece of Matteottibrought to light in the news to attack the Prime Minister, Georgie Melons. “They dusted off Matteotti’s niece, somewhere, Mr. Matteotti’s niece, who told the government they are still fascists, that’s why they don’t celebrate it. We don’t care about everyone, my friends: it’s over, it’s all over, fascism ended 80 years ago!”
The host of Radio24 he then talked about Eurovision and the winner dressed in a skirt. “Now I can’t give a shit about Eurovision and this one in particular Nemo that I didn’t know, don’t know and above all don’t want to know. I don’t care and would never call a rally or a victory of one nauseating. Having said that, there is the right to nausea. Or do we want to prohibit nausea?”.
The last point touched by Cruciani concerns a serious accident that occurred in Sixth San Johnwhere a two-year-old girl was attacked by a pitbull. “These dogs must be kicked out of Italy, that is, in the sense that the marketing of pit bulls must be banned, the trade in pit bulls and similar must be stopped. These dogs are not like labradors, they are not like terriers, they are not like other dogs, these have the killer instinct. They must be demolished.”
