The new program hosted by Milly Carlucci was presented to the press “The Talent Catcher” which will start on Friday 10 May in prime time on Raiuno live from the Foro Italico in Rome (there will be five episodes, four of which will be on Friday and the final on Saturday 8 June). It is a Prime Time Entertainment Management production in collaboration with Fremantle (Executive producer Sandra Nicola, directed by Luca Alcini)
The title of the brand new program signed by Milly Carlucci and Giancarlo De Andreis (created and written with Luca Alcini, Maddalena De Panfilis, Giovanni Giuliani, Danila Lostumbo, Francesco Saverio Sasso, Svevo Tognalini, Simone Troschel) takes its name from the definition of the word talent which is the aptitude or potential to develop a skill…
The talents who will perform will be of various kinds: magicians, acrobats, singers, artists of various kinds (Italian and international). Some are real “freshmen”, debutants looking for a space in the world of entertainment; others have already performed their numbers on television programs around the world.
“We tried to gather the best artists, making this program live has an added value”, states Luca Alcini followed by the words of Claudio Fasulo – deputy director of Prime Time entertainment: “We can’t give up the adrenaline of live broadcasts. Doing a show like this live requires exceptional professionalism. This team – nine tenths – is the one that creates Dancing with the Stars and this would not be possible without the team created by Milly Carlucci”.
A fundamental role will be played by the “Talenti Catchers” – Sabrina Salerno, Mara Maionchi, Wanda Nara, Francesco Paoloantoni And Teo Mammuccari who, in the broadcast, will be real talent scouts equipped with a sort of gavel similar to the one used by auctioneers.
Naturally it will also be a challenge between them because with speed, friendliness, intuition and experience they will try to grab the talents most similar to their characteristics… The mechanism for winning the talents provides that the five fierce talent scouts must see clips lasting 15 seconds …
To promote talents, the Talent Catchers will resort to real harangues (always in a joking tone) with which they will have to convince the audience at home that they will be able to vote via the social networks dedicated to the program (X, Instagram and Facebook). The judgment of the judges Simona Ventura, Flavio Insinna and Francesco Facchinetti will also be fundamental.
The race will continue with a second heat.
After the jury’s provisional ranking, each of the five Talent Catchers will be offered a sort of blind exchange with another talent… Naturally, it will be up to the talent scouts to choose whether to confirm their choice or whether to continue the competition with a new talent… The votes of the the jury and the public will decide who will win the episode…The Talent Catchers will bring and have to perform with the winning talent in the final of the program scheduled for Saturday 8 June.
