A new package of services will bring together Disney+ And HBO Max. The two entertainment giants will launch their own project next summer, which will combine the Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max streaming services. Specific pricing has not yet been announced, but packages with and without advertising will be included.
This is a very important agreement because, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, the HBO Max-Disney+ combination fills an unserved gap in the market. The two giants present this new service as the most advantageous in terms of quality-price ratio.
Disney’s streaming business is not yet profitable but this step is certainly historic, leading the company towards a sharing that had never materialized in the past in the streaming sector. As with Warner Bros. Discovery, Disney has also offered services through third parties such as Verizon, but now this new agreement places the major in a much more direct proactive position.
