From 30 April the Revenue Agency will make available the pre-compiled form 730 for employees and pensioners which will allow filling in in a simplified and more intuitive way compared to the previous ones. With the new form, those who will be entitled to receive an Irpef refund will be able to choose not to go through the withholding agent but to obtain it directly from the Revenue Agency. Refunds will be paid based on the date of submission of the tax return. Generally, the sooner you fill it out, the sooner you receive credit.

In case it is necessary to modify or integrate some information there will be another guided procedure to recover it. Naturally, anyone who makes changes may be subject to further checks to check that the data entered is correct.

How to present form 730 and what documents are needed

It is possible to present the 730 model directly, via the Revenue Agency website or via tax withholding agent, Caf or authorized professional. In this second case, in addition to the delegation for access to the pre-compiled form 730, it will be necessary to deliver form 730-1, in a closed envelope, containing the choice to allocate 8, 5 and 2 per thousand of the Irpef and your data personal data.

In case of changes in the compilation of form 730, the taxpayer must show the following documentation necessary to verify the correctness of the data entered to the Caf or to the authorized professional:

  • the Single Certification and other certifications that document the withholdings;
