If seven men can talk about abortion, then seven women can talk about SUVs and male impotence. It happened last night on Rai 3during the program Gorgeous Frame, where the presenter Geppi Cucciari organized a hilarious all-female table to debate a surreal theme: the alleged relationship between male impotence and big cars. «Could buying an SUV be an effective remedy against male impotence?», Cucciari asks the guests in the studio very seriously: there is the actress Valeria Solarino, the president of the Foundation Diversity Francesca Vecchioni, the lawyer Ester Viola, the actress Federica Fracassi, the political analyst Martina Carone and, finally, the aerospace engineer Amalia Ercoli-Finzi. The reference is clear: that staged on the edge of irony by Cucciari is the response to the April 18th episode of Door to door – historic broadcast hosted by Bruno Vespa on Rai 1 – in which seven commentators were invited to debate abortion, and in particular the Brothers of Italy amendment to allow the entry of pro-life associations into clinics (law from 23 April), all of them men.
