On the other hand, just take a look at the world of Italian entertainment. In twenty-three editions Amici di Maria De Filippi has not only launched now very popular artists such as Annalisa or Elodie, Emma or Alessandra Amoroso, Irama or The Kolors, but has allowed many talents to shine and follow prestigious paths that are not only under spotlight. So while the «Evening» is on stage (the new episode tomorrow evening on Canale 5) we can make a small map of who has blossomed in this talent.

Let’s understand each other, there is Stefano De Martino, who is now the child prodigy of Rai and who came first among the dancers in Amici in 2009, but there are also, just to name a few, the austere and refined Anbeta Toromani who , after the 2003 edition, she has become an actress who performs around the world, from the San Carlo in Naples to the Bratislava Opera. Lorella Boccia and Giulia Pauselli, Elena D’Amario and Giuseppe Giofrè (who today is on the jury together with Cristiano Malgioglio and Michele Bravi) also danced in the talent show before becoming TV hosts or even going on tour with Claudio Baglioni (Andreas Müller in 2018 ). By the way, Monica Hill also went on tour as a chorister with stars like Ramazzotti and Pausini after participating in the first edition.

In short, this talent not only produces TV ratings but also realizes its corporate name, that is, giving a concrete chance to those who deserve it. Take Samuele Segreto, who danced at the twenty-second edition of Amici and then starred in Stranizza d’amuri by Beppe Fiorello. Or Talisa Ravagnani and Shaila Gatta, who became “Veline” of Striscia la Notizia (like Cosmary Fasanelli). Naturally the list of singers who showed off even after the end of the edition is very long, from Antonino to the very talented Pierdavide Carone, who was “directed” by Lucio Dalla at the Sanremo Festival passing through Briga, Dear Jack, Sergio Sylvestre, Loredana Errore, Moreno and of course Michele Merlo, who was struck down by a fulminating leukemia in 2021 with a painful legal aftermath.

In short, Amici is a laboratory that has allowed many to find their own direction, which is not just music or singing. For example Diana Del Bufalo who, after Amici in 2010, became an actress and presenter. Or Andrea Dianetti who, after starring in Amici, joined many casts (from Cesaroni to Un medico in famiglia), starred in some films and in 2023 also hosted Lo Zecchino d’oro. Then there is the “radio branch” with Manola Moslehi who is now a central figure in Radio Italia’s schedules. And then there is Paolo Stella, who after the second edition became an actor, blogger and even novelist. But not only. There were competitors like Marcello Sacchetta who was part of the dance troupes of many TV programs as a dancer and choreographer (for example Nudi per la Vita with Mara Maionchi).

In short, the list is very long and it is not possible to list all those who, passing through Amici, have transformed their passion into a successful job. But it is significant that Amici, like other talent talents around the world, has become a training ground which, by putting on a show, prepares one for the world of entertainment.

And so, while the last competitors of this edition compete for the final victory (TV ratings as always very high), the list of those who have made it is long from here to there, confirming that many talents just need be enlightened to blossom.
