Yoann Bourgeois is the French choreographer, dancer, set designer and director, who will accompany Marco Mengoni on Saturday, May 13, for his grand final performance. He is known in the entertainment world for being the choreographer of the stars: he has worked with numerous artists of the caliber of Harry Styles and is highly appreciated for his performances which are real works of the acrobatic genre. He is 42 years old and is originally from France.

Born in 1981, Bourgeois has a circus training. In fact, in 2006 he graduated from the National Center for Circus Arts in Chalons-en Champagne, in the Marne, and was inspired by the techniques of his teacher Alexandre Del Perugia. She will continue to study movement at the National Contemporary Dance Center in Angers, pursuing this double track which will prove to be fundamental for her professional breakthrough. In 2011 especially its choreography The Art of Fugue on the notes of a Bach symphony it will be noted and recognized internationally. It will be then that Bourgeois will begin to export his art abroad as well. Among the most important works of him are Celui qui gravescreated for the Lyon Dance Biennial, e minuit, staged at the Theater de la Ville, in which he affirms a marked interest in the concept of gravity and time in relation to each other. He will be the first circus artist to be appointed director of the National Choreographic Center of Grenoble.
