Who are Olivia and Sofia Vialli, the daughters of the former footballer hospitalized in London

Olivia and Sofia Vialli are the two daughters of Gianluca Vialli, former footballer now director of the Italian national football team. Let’s find out who the two girls had from his wife married in 2003.

Here’s who Olivia and Sofia Vialli are, the daughters of Gianluca Vialli

Of the life of Olivia and Sofia Vialli very little or nothing is known given that the Vialli family is notoriously very reserved despite the fact that Gianluca has always been used to living in the spotlight due to his work. There are no traces of the two girls on social networks. On only one occasion Vialli spoke of the two daughters and their relationship, and it was in relation to his illness. The former footballer said of Olivia and Sofia:

My daughters helped me draw my eyebrows and I asked my wife for advice on tricks to use. We laughed, you have to laugh, you need to find the funny side“.

And Gianluca Vialli has also tried several times to follow their advice, only to then declare:

“There were days when I locked myself in the bathroom to keep from crying“.

We are therefore dealing with two very young girls who have a not indifferent sensitivity and have tried to face a difficult danger for their father who unfortunately shows no sign of ending, on the contrary, tends to get worse and worse.

Gianluca Vialli’s illness

Gianluca Vialli in 2017 had announced to the world that he was sick with cancer, to be precise a pancreatic cancer. Although he had repeatedly defeated what he himself has always defined:

an unwanted guest“,

has had more than one relapse. On several occasions the world of sport and his fans have been apprehensive about Vialli’s precarious conditions. His last success took place in 2021, when, with lifelong friend and goal brother Roberto Mancini, brought Italy to the top of Europe by winning the 2020 Euros played in 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Today, 20 December 2022, Gianluca Vialli was admitted to a clinic in London where does he live with the wife Catherine White Cooper and daughters Olivia and Sofia. Already last week, to be precise on December 14, 2022, the former footballer had announced that he was temporarily leaving his position at the national team to devote himself completely to the treatment of his illness. These were his words:

“At the end of a long and difficult ‘negotiation’ with my wonderful team of oncologists I have decided to suspend, hopefully temporarily, my present and future professional commitments.”

Then he added:

“The goal is to use all the psycho-physical energies to help my body get through this stage of the disease, in order to be able to face new adventures as soon as possible and share them with all of you. A hug”.
