The rain, the asphalt that becomes slippery and the head-on crash between a truck and a car is inevitable: two injured a Portgruaro point the accident happened today evening, Monday 1 July around 7pm near the Purina factory in Noiari. All the scrutiny by the Carabinieri of the Portogruaro station intervened to ascertain causes and responsibilities. The accident occurred near the exit of a roundabout at the Portogruaro freight village, where a young man died in a similar accident a few months ago. Along the Variante della Statale 14, the Portogruaro ring road, a Lexus and a Mercedes truck collided. Both drivers were injured in the crash.
The firefighters rushed to the scene along with the 118 paramedics. The two drivers were transferred to the hospital in Portogruaro for diagnostics. Fortunately, their conditions are not serious. Traffic disruptions with slowdowns and long queues were inevitable.
Another accident on the cursed stretch
In the late afternoon another accident occurred on the regional road from Bibione to San Michele al Tagliamento. Here two cars collided while a storm was raging. Even under this circumstance, traffic slowed down significantly. In the afternoon a woman skidded into the cursed trait of the A4 ending up with the car against the barriers. Fortunately for her there were no consequences even if the car suffered serious damage.
