Ferrovie.Info – Planes: ITA Airways launches new direct flight Rome Fiumicino

ITA Airwaysthe Italian reference company, announces the launch of the new direct flight between Rome Fiumicino and Bangkokwhich will be operated starting from next November 16th with 5 weekly frequencies.

The new connection is the first for ITA Airways between Italy and Thailand, and represents one of the new features of the next 2024/2025 winter season, together with the Rome Fiumicino – Dubai flight, which will be operated starting from 27 October 2024.

The flight between Rome and Bangkok, on sale from today on all the Company’s channels, will be operated with an Airbus A330neo with the following schedule:

  • Rome Fiumicino – Bangkok operational from November 16th departing on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 15:15 and arriving in Bangkok at 07:40 (local time).
  • Bangkok – Rome Fiumicino, operational from November 17 departing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 12.15pm (local time) with arrival in Rome at 7.15pm.

In the current summer season ITA Airways operates 57 destinations, of which 16 national, 26 international and 15 intercontinental. The Company recently inaugurated new direct flights from Rome Fiumicino to Chicago (7 April), Toronto (10 May), Riyadh (2 June), Accra (6 June). Furthermore, the direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Dakar will inaugurate on 3 July and the one to Jeddah on 1 August.
