«The volunteers from Ruvo di Puglia were truly original in thinking of inviting Spiderman, the superhero loved by all children, directly from New York City. But what does Spiderman have to do with anti-abandonment day?
“What we wanted was to find a “gentle” way to introduce children to respect for every living being – says Rossella Ulloa Severino, head of Enpa Ruvo di Puglia – I thought that such an important message should be launched by a super hero. Spiderman he is the superhero of all children, even of my son Alessandro, and if Spiderman who is good and fights everything that is bad tells children that ANIMALS are not abandoned, the message takes on a different value.”
Our neighborhood Spiderman is played by Tommaso Lorenzini who made himself available free of charge to support our work to raise awareness against animal abandonment. It goes without saying that having an association that always invents a new one, in order to sow respect for animals in the hearts of children, is a great added value for our territory.
And the presence of Tommaso Lorenzini, who had already been awarded in the past for his “heroic actions”, is a further gift for our country. And if Spiderman says that animals are not abandoned, it means that this is exactly what all children will do.
And we adults who no longer believe in fairy tales… will we be able to set a good example for our children?
