The regional tour of Compagnia delle Opere Sicilia, the network of businesses and freelancers that under the guidance of regional president Salvatore Motta intends to move in the coming months to meet the territories and thus multiply networking opportunities, starts from Ragusa.
“Synergies. Value comes from entrepreneurial connections” is not by chance the theme of this tour that last night saw over one hundred participants at the headquarters of the Centro Commerciale Culturale, thanks to the patronage of the Municipality of Ragusa, also in the presence of the councilors Giorgio Massari, Giovanni Gurrieri and Simone Digrandi.
“We chose to start right from the province of Ragusa – explained President Salvatore Motta – for its entrepreneurial liveliness and because it is already, after the province of Catania, the territory with the most active Cdo network, thanks to the presence of many historic members both in the profit and non-profit sectors. Right here, therefore, we think there is the most fertile ground to understand the value of synergies, as a response to a historical moment in which sharing from the bottom can recreate confidence in the future and multiply the growth opportunities that Sicily deserves”.
“Our task is to spread an industrious vision and a business culture that can be of help to everyone, even the smallest size”, added the director of Cdo Sicilia Claudia Fuccio: “On this theme we are operating both vertically, with supply chains such as agri-food and construction, and horizontally, organizing networking moments like these that can create the opportunity for meetings, discussions and collaborations. We are working on new initiatives that will start in September: for example, we will open a desk for European tenders and relaunch the Training School for the Common Good that already last season profitably involved many entrepreneurs and professionals from Catania”.
“The quality of our decisions depends on the quality of our relationships,” confirmed Cristina Scuderi, member of the board of directors of Cdo Sicilia and representative for the province of Ragusa, explaining how important it is for an entrepreneur to have a network of relationships that allows one to look at reality in a more complete and true way, asking the right questions. “It is only the first stone,” continued Scuderi, “because we already have many activities planned to develop throughout the province, and we will soon organize a huge event for the entire Sicilian territory that will bring together over 500 companies.”
