“With Toti’s arrests we immediately supported in the Regional Council, and even more so in the political debate, the inability of this Regional Council to move forward. In a reckless manner Toti is making his interests prevail over those of Liguria and yesterday, what we are saying was plastic compared to the Vado Ligure regasification terminal affair”. “After the meeting authorized by the Prosecutor’s Office which took place between Toti and the councilors Piana, Giampedrone and Scajola, we read about the doubts that the Council had regarding the placement of the regasification terminal in Vado Ligure, also in relation to the repeated protests in the area. This is what emerged from the newspapers the regional council’s request to the Government to appoint a new Commissioner for the issue. Precisely for this reason yesterday all the opposition forces, the Regional Council, Linea Condivisa, PD, Movimento 5 Stelle, Azione and Lista Sansa, presented an agenda with the objective of canceling the project to relocate the regasification terminal in the body of water in front of the municipalities of Vado Ligure and Savona”.
“Naturally – continues the note – given that the current Toti council is all a sham, the majority voted against our agenda and presented one which commits the president and the council to identifying a new Commissioner who can evaluate the critical issues that have emerged and to dialogue with the local authorities involved. It is said that Toti wants the regasification plant in the Gulf of Vado a new Commissioner”.
