Its slogan is “committed to life”, the triangular football team among the representatives of the Municipality of Faenzaof theUSD Virtus Faenza and the pharmaceutical company Fresenius Kabischeduled for next Saturday 22 June at the Don Fiorini sports center in via Berardi starting from 3.30 pm.
The non-competitive initiative aims to demonstrate the value of solidarity capable of creating deep bonds between those who give and those who receive in particular moments of difficulty. And exactly what happened after the disastrous flood of May 2023 in Faenza and Romagna which triggered an extraordinary race of generosity, decisive in healing the city’s wounds and helping citizens and businesses to restart.
Among the protagonists of the donations received from the Faenza area, the pharmaceutical company Fresenius Kabi wanted to support with an important economic contribution the restoration of the infrastructures of the USD Virtus Faenza, which saw its football fields and related infrastructures distorted to become the headquarters general of the Civil Protection during the flood. Once the emergency was over, major works on the infrastructure became necessary to allow the many young people to return to carrying out their sporting activities as best as possible.

Sealing this gesture through a moment of sport, meeting in person, is the best way to create a bond of gratitude and friendship that I hope will remain in the hearts of all those who will be present on Saturday”
