A tribute to Giacomo Matteotti – CittAgorà


One hundred years after his death, the Gobetti Center Of Turin paid tribute to James Matteottikidnapped and murdered in Rome by fascists on 10 June 1924, with a public meeting and a theatrical performance curated by Libere PensAttrici in the afternoon of 18 June 2024 at its headquarters in via Fabro 6.

The president of the City Council participated in the initiative, Mary Grace Gripporepresenting the City of Turin, who visited the premises of the Centre, reiterating its willingness to continue working together, as happened on the occasion of the commemoration for the twentieth anniversary of the death of Norberto Bobbio, celebrated last January 18th in the Sala Rossa.

In October – announced the president Mary Grace Grippo – will also come on purposeto a plaque on the facade of the building in via Sacchi 66 where the philosopher lived, as decided by the Toponymy Commission of the Municipality of Turin, which she herself chaired.
