He was serving the remainder of his sentence in the home of his elderly parents and insulted them, made death threats and beat them. In Oristano, a 45-year-old local man ended up in prison again.
The man, already sentenced on appeal to 4 years and 8 months for mistreatment, injuries and sexual violence against his partner, even in the presence of his minor children, was serving the remainder of his sentence at the home of his elderly parents who had decided to welcome him. Despite the sentence already imposed on him, the 45-year-old, often drunk, insulted, verbally and physically attacked his father, even threatening him with death. Until the old man, fearing for his safety and that of his wife, who was bedridden and disabled, decided to ask for the intervention of the police.
The investigations of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters were rapid and all the necessary evidence was collected, reporting the matter to the Oristano Prosecutor’s Office and informing the Cagliari Surveillance Court. The latter established that, given his threatening and violent behavior, the 45-year-old demonstrated his inability to comply with the provisions and suspended the execution of house arrest. Now the man has returned to prison and is in the Massama penitentiary institute.
