and takes the place of Bioesserì Porta Nuova

On the social page of Sepia egg Milan, for a few days there has been only one message: “Squid Egg Milan. via Vespucci, 11. Opening from 24 June”. It only took a moment to do the checks. At the address of via Vespucci, at the moment, there is Bioesserì Porta Nuova, the Borgia family’s restaurant. And here’s what will happen: Uovodiseppia, the concept created by the chef from Licata in the province of Agrigento, Pino Cuttaia, two Michelin stars at La Madia, is moving to Bioesserì’s place. A move not in the immediate vicinity, given that via Vespucci and via Ariosto are about forty minutes away on foot (almost 3 kilometers, according to Google Maps). An agreement, therefore, between the chef from Licate and the Borgia group, owner of the Bioesserì brand which is divided between Milan and Palermo. The official opening, according to sources close to the starred chef, is scheduled for next September. In recent months, therefore, the testing period of the Licatese chef and his staff. But also for customers, who will have to get used to the new presence in the area. “With Pino Cuttaia and the group that manages Uovodiseppia we had the opportunity to create this happy partnership – they say from the Borgia group – This, with the arrival of Uovodiseppia in place of Bioesserì, is the first of many that we hope to carry forward both in Sicily and in the rest of Italy. Rather than create a new restaurant, we opted for the sale of the Porta Nuova restaurant to begin this collaboration which promises to be truly very interesting.”
