ANCI Lazio, June 21st a day dedicated to the Municipalities

ANCI Lazio is pleased to announce a day dedicated to the Municipalities, which will take place in Frascati, at the Aldobrandini Scuderie, on Friday 21 June, starting from 10 am. The event will be divided into three distinct moments, each of which will have as its objective the valorization and support of the municipal administrations of Lazio.

1. Presentation of the Erasmus+ fEUture LAs project and the AGILIES podcast

The morning will begin with the presentation of the fEUture LAs project, from which the AGILIES training podcast was born, dedicated to small municipalities. This podcast, made up of 46 episodes available on Spotify, offers a practical guide on how to implement smartworking within Public Administrations. Through concrete examples, suggestions, good practices from other realities and in-depth studies, the podcast aims to provide effective support to local administrations.

“Anci Lazio continues to prove itself an essential point of reference for the municipalities of our territory – explains the General Secretary, Giuseppe De Righi –, promoting projects that not only enhance the identity and beauty of our cities, but which also encourage growth and the development of the skills needed for the future”.
The project is coordinated by Irene De Laurentiis of The Apartment, a social promotion association active since 2019 and committed to promoting work-life balance. The collaboration with Anci Lazio (Italy), European Institute for Local Development (Greece) and EcoLogic (North Macedonia) was fundamental to the success of the initiative. Special thanks go to CIAPE for the scientific supervision and to Radio Speaker, represented by Marcello Forcina, for the technical support.

“This initiative represents an extraordinary example of how Anci Lazio knows how to combine innovation and tradition, providing municipalities with the necessary tools to face the challenges of the future. Support in training and the adoption of smartworking are fundamental steps to modernize our local administrations”, declares Martina Dominici, ANCI Lazio delegate.

2. Awards ceremony for the “Light up your municipality” Christmas competition
The second moment of the morning will be dedicated to the award ceremony of the Christmas competition organized by Anci Lazio, “Light up your municipality”, now in its second edition. The Municipality of Rocca di Papa won first prize for the second time in a row with a splendid overall photo taken by Tiziano Rapo, which portrays Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Costituente and the Comet Star of the Annibaldi Fortress. The second prize went to the Municipality of Alatri for a beautiful shot of the tree in Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, with the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in the background. Third place was won by the Municipality of Albano with a shot by Rosanna Galanti which immortalizes the tree in Piazza Mazzini and the traditional Christmas train. The prizes awarded are: €1500 for first place, €1000 for second and €500 for third. Albano, already runner-up in the last edition, has once again demonstrated the high quality of its Christmas lights.

“The ‘Light up your municipality’ competition – declares vice-president Gianpaolo Nardi – represents a unique opportunity to enhance the creativity and commitment of local administrations in making our towns more beautiful and welcoming during the Christmas holidays. Every photo and every decoration tells a story of community, tradition and beauty, confirming how important it is to celebrate and promote the cultural heritage of our territories.”

3. Presentation of the new Anci Lazio logo
The last moment will be dedicated to the presentation of the new Anci Lazio logo, created in collaboration with Morris Consulting. The new logo, which incorporates the colors of the sea and nature, represents a graphic stylization of culture, productivity and the environment, all excellences of our territory. The logo looks like a leaf which, embracing the municipalities of our region, is divided between the colors of nature and those of the sea.

“The new Anci Lazio logo symbolizes the unity and diversity of our municipalities, integrating elements that represent culture, productivity and the environment. This graphic renewal reflects not only our commitment to innovation, but also our desire to continue to enhance and promote the excellence of the Lazio region, looking with confidence to the future”, said the President of Anci Lazio, Riccardo Varone.

Special thanks go to the Municipality of Frascati, which is hosting us for the second consecutive year, and to the mayor Francesca Sbardella for her welcome and support in the organization of this important day.
