«Ad unum», the choreographic workshop directed by Andrea Cagnetti in Sapri

From 1st to 5th July and then from 8th July to 12th, the Roman choreographer adopted from the lands of Cilento will hold a choreographic workshop at the Municipal Auditorium of Sapri from 10am until 1pm. The initiative is born from the collaboration now consolidated with BAM! of Sapri. In fact, the laboratory will be useful for the creation of a choreographic installation that will be staged as part of the Persei di Suoni festival, organized by the Saprese association.

The educational path consists of ten morning meetings, during which you will be able to have a first approach to the La Nuova Danza method. The topics covered will be “the effectiveness of communication”, “the dramaturgy of the body”, Butoh techniques and studies of Jacques Lecoq’s Theater of Movement.

Participation is free, thanks to the availability of the Sapri municipal council in the figures of the mayor Antonio Gentile, the councilor for Culture Amalia Morabito and the councilor for Social Policies and Health Gerardina Madonna, who make the location available.

The concept that will give rise to the choreographic movements is linked to the possibility that human beings have of feeling part of an energetic and alive system. The possibility of competing in a sublime syntonic harmony with all living beings without distinction of any kind. Go back to being simply human.
