LE MANS (FRANCE) – A historic day for Italian motor racing, and above all for the Ferrari N.50 driven by Antonio Fuoco. The driver, originally from Cariati, won the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans together with his team mates Miguel Molina and Nikolas Nielsen, leading the Maranello supercar to victory in one of the most prestigious and challenging competitions in the world and repeating the success of 2023.
Fuoco masterfully drove the Ferrari Hypercar, demonstrating exceptional technical skills and uncommon psychophysical resistance. His team, which also included other top-level drivers, was able to face the difficult racing conditions which, as usual at Le Mans, put men and vehicles to the test. Rain, fog and sudden changes in the weather did not discourage Fuoco and his teammates, who were able to maintain calm and concentration, managing every phase of the race perfectly.
This year’s victory takes on a particular meaning for Ferrari. Not only does it represent confirmation after long work of development and technological innovation, but also redemption from a series of seasons with alternating successes. The Prancing Horse Hypercar has proven competitive since the beginning of the Endurance championship, and the triumphant performance at Le Mans was the definitive confirmation of its extraordinary potential.
