Nembro, 16 June 2024 – Flurry of disruptions in Val Seriana after an accident involving three vehicles. The carambola occurred today, Sunday 16 June, in the late afternoon, just before 6pm, on the state road 671 of the Val Seriana.
It is one of the busiest routes in the province: it practically starts from the motorway exit to reach places such as Nembro, Cene and Clusone, among others.
The provision
Four people were injured in the accident – the causes of which are under investigation. For the fight “it is temporarily closed” a section of the road, from kilometer 4.550 to km 7.930, corresponding to the Montenegrone gallery, between the municipal areas of Torre dè Roveri and Nembro, where the accident occurred. The wounded are a 29 year old young man, a 52 year old woman and a 70 year old pensioner.
The dynamics
According to initial information it would have been a clash front: however, the exact dynamics are still to be clarified. It will be up to the Carabinieri to reconstruct what happened, having intervened on site with the firefighters and rescuers, with ambulance and medical vehicle. Traffic, according to Anas, was diverted onto alternative roads: an obligatory choice which caused the congestion of the routes involved.
