Jeep will have the lowest price ever: you pay less than a small car. The US giant is ready to disrupt the market.
Jeep is ready to repel attacks by low-cost models from China, increasingly widespread on our roads, launching a new vehicle on the market at a bargain price, capable of even competing with a small car. Stellantis, a group of which the American giant is part, has repeatedly reiterated the absolute need to produce low-cost cars to be able to compete in today’s market. This also applies to a brand like Jeep, which has built an empire on the quality of its models, and which has always stood out for a pricing policy, although accessible, far from being defined as economical.
In the last period however the US giant has broadened its horizonsnot only “expanding” its choice and combining the classic off-road vehicles that have become the emblem of the brand with more versatile models also suitable for city use, but also meeting customers with an increasingly favorable price proposal.
The brand, thanks to a fortunate historical period from a sales point of view, intends to continue on this path and aim on a model that seems to have all it takes to become yet another Jeep success.
Jeep, super affordable price
Jeep has confirmed its intention to launch the new compact SUV in the range in 2027, which should fit into a price range of less than 25,000 euros. The Renegade, as confirmed by Stellantis according to the latest rumors, is about to return in a new totally electric version, ready to confirm the enormous success of the model, among the best-selling on the market and among the main architects of the relaunch of the brand. The car, which could have several aspects in common with the Citroen e-C3 (another brand of the Stellantis group) should have a 111 HP engine and over 300 km of autonomy.
As reported by Carscoop, the model should cost around 23,400 euros in its electric version, but the group intends to leave a wide choice in terms of engines, so more details on the entire range are expected and it is easy to predict price changes depending on which option is chosen. The new Renegade model has already positioned itself as one of the most anticipated models of the coming years, given the success achieved by the model from 2014 to today.
