Villa d’Adda. Tragedy on Sunday morning (June 16) in a workshop in Villa d’Adda, where a 41-year-old man was found lifeless with a wound to his neck.
The alarm went off around 12.30 in the area between Viale delle Industrie and Via Catello, inside the Car Fuel 37 service station, where there is also a tobacconist’s bar, a workshop and a car wash.
The victim is the owner of the business, Luca Carrara. Apparently he was alone and there were no direct witnesses to what happened. The investigations are entrusted to the Zogno carabinieri, who arrived on site together with the medical vehicle and the 118 ambulance.
The main hypothesis is that it was a dramatic accident at work: according to what transpires, the man was handling a hose to cut an iron sheet when he lost control of the tool.
The Bergamo Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an autopsy and the seizure of the premises to carry out further investigations and exclude other hypotheses; while the Arlati e Ravasio Funeral Company of Calusco d’Adda was responsible for transporting the body of the 41-year-old father of a family.
