A Ford Fiesta and two motorcycles, a Piaggio Beverly and a Kawasaki Z900, were involved in the accident. Luca Pupillo, the only victim of the clash, was on the latter. Except for the driver of the Piaggio, a 34-year-old taken to the Grassi hospital for his injuries but not in serious condition. A 21-year-old woman was in the car and tested negative for alcohol. According to initial reconstructions, the accident was caused by a collision between the two motorcyclists. Just at that moment another car would have arrived, driven by the 21-year-old. It is not clear at the moment whether the boy died following the fall or from the collision. The girl driving the car was taken to hospital in shock.
