A 54-year-old farmer died in Pavarolo, in the Turin area, after the tractor he was on overturned. His two dogs tried to save him by alerting his family, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the man.

He overturned while driving a tractor in Pavarolo, in the Turin area, and his two sheepdogs tried to help him, unfortunately in vain. Protagonist of the story He is a 54 year old farmer and his two dogs. The man was taking care of some land in Pavarolo and was driving his tractor when, for reasons that are yet to be ascertained, the vehicle overturned.
His two animals did not give up and until the last moment they tried to save him: one of the dogs remained to watch over the owner, injured but still alive, remained trapped under the body of the tractor, while the other launched into a mad dash towards home to alert his family. But unfortunately, the owner of the two animals died from the very serious injuries sustained after the accident.
Medical workers intervened on site with ambulances and air ambulances together with firefighters with the help of the Drago helicopter and USAR teams specialized in the recovery of people in difficult conditions. Despite the efforts made by the rescuers and the alarm raised first by the two dogs and then by the farmer’s family, unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for him.

After extracting it from the tractor sheets, the 118 doctor tried to resuscitate him, but without success. In the end the doctor could do nothing but confirm the 54-year-old’s death.
The causes behind the accident are still to be ascertained: it is not clear what caused the tractor to overturn. The authorities are leaning towards a tragic fatality, but further information on the accident will be made known in the next few hours, when all the necessary investigations on the vehicle will be completed. The dynamics, still unclear, are therefore being reconstructed by the police.
