It is Thyrus day. At 7.30 pm, the winged dragon, the new symbol of the city of Terni, will be discovered and inaugurated at the Filipponi roundabout in front of the entrance to Chaos.

TODAY’S PROGRAM

At 4.00 pm the impromptu painting exhibitions with exhibitions by around 50 artists, organized by the Thyrus Association in the “Prua” area of ​​Viale Lungonera. At the same time in the Clock Room of CAOS, the second day of conferences will begin, curated by Daniela Zannetti, regarding the dragon as a theme of cultural and “pop” communication, the use of steel in the contemporary artistic panorama, with interventions by Daniela Zannetti, journalist and art curator; Lorenzo Rubini, art historian and critic; Lorenza Fruci, journalist and cultural manager; Alberto Borgatta, historian and popularizer; Andrea Forges Davanzati, international sculptor, Simone Pezzè, Texture artist and IED Rome teacher and Andrea Salvatori, architect and Graphic 3D Designer VFX for cinema.

At 5.00 pm there will be a screening of the film dedicated to the history and characters of Terni created by Euromedia, at the same time the parade of all the sports clubs with the Dragon as their symbol will begin, the procession in historical dress, with the musical band and at 7.00 pm the Thyrus Flying Team formation will fly over the skies of the city.

At 7.30pm the inauguration of the Thyrus accompanied by an ensemble with the music of Ennio Morricone and a dance show curated by the Musical Academy.
