Still disbelief and shock at the tragic death of Jeidi and Aurora, a 40-year-old mother and 9-year-old daughter who were hit by a train last June 13th in the Montesilvano station, when the Frecciarossa headed for Milan passed through in the late afternoon.
A death that occurred before the incredulous eyes of the many witnesses present who were waiting for the train and who, based on the information provided to the police investigating the incident, were hand in hand and suddenly ended up on the tracks during the transit of the train. Among the most accredited hypotheses is that of a desperate and voluntary gesture by the mother, even though analyzes of the station’s video surveillance cameras are underway. And right there, on one of the pylons of the shelter of platform 2 of the station, the martial arts company Asd Karate Sport Center of Montesilvano wanted to leave a bouquet of flowers and a writing to remember Aurora, who was a student of the school. We reached President Emanuele Nicolosi for a memory of the little girl:
“We are shocked. Aurora was close to everyone here in the school, she was loved and everyone loved her. She was a cheerful and cheerful child, and she worked hard enough to always come regularly to the two weekly training sessions. She had many friends and was well integrated. Even the mother often stopped to talk in the waiting room with the other parents and instructors. She was also a cheerful person and spoke to me frequently.”
From initial information, the mother did not leave any notes or messages, and therefore in the event of confirmation of a voluntary gesture, the investigators will focus their attention on the possible reasons that may have led to such a tragic and dramatic gesture.
