young man involved leaves intensive care

BRINDISI – Those who rushed to the accident site immediately after the crash gave him up for dead. He was thrown from the saddle and ended up disastrously on the asphalt, after a flight of a few metres, without showing any signs of life. The two-wheeler caught fire. A terrible scene that presented itself to the eyes of the rescuers. He was taken under code red to Perrino in Brindisi in critical condition. Two weeks later, the good news: his clinical picture has improved and today, Saturday 15 June, he left the Perrino intensive care unit where he was admitted immediately after the very serious accident, to be transferred to Neurosurgery. He will have to face a period of rehabilitation but he can say he is out of danger. This is the 34-year-old from Bari who was involved in the accident on state road 379 that connects Bari to Brindisi at the junction for Pantanagianni (Carovigno) last Sunday 2 June. The motorbike he was traveling on and a car collided violently, he was thrown onto the asphalt and the two-wheeler caught fire. As already mentioned, the impact with the asphalt was so violent that the worst was feared, but fortunately the epilogue was not tragic.
