FAENZA – A great event of thanks to all those who helped during the flood of May 2023 in Emilia Romagna, arriving from all over the country, also allowing human lives to be saved.

The party ‘Flood, one year later. A day to say thank youorganized by the Emilia-Romagna Region, will be held today Saturday 15 June at PalaCattani Faenza, in the heart of one of the most wounded territories. It will be an opportunity to express our gratitude to those who played a fundamental role in managing the emergency and to those who are still working today to restore the damage, secure the area and fully return to normality.
Piedmont also participates in this day of gratitude, therefore also Alexandria will be represented by a delegation of volunteers who worked in the Emilian territories in May 2023. The Volunteers will be led by the Provincial Coordinator Andrea Morchio, who from that experience, together with his Piedmontese colleagues, created the exercise that took place last May called Alessandria 94/24, to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the 1994 Alexandria flood.
