PRESENTATION OF THE COMPETITION
ALVI TRAIL LIGURIA 4th Edition it is an international ultra trail along the paths of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre: a mountain race in 8 stages starting from Rocchetta Nervina (Ligurian Alps) and arriving in Porto Venere (Gulf of Poets ) which will take place in 2024.
Among the longest ultra races on the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) calendar, over the course of 8 days a distance of is covered 440km (ULTRA 440K) crossing 7 natural parks with always different and fascinating environments and landscapes.
In the 2024 Edition, the WEST 220K and the EAST 220K, 220km in 4 stages each. The West 220K will start together with the Ultra 440K from Rocchetta Nervina and will cover the first 4 stages (Stage 1-Stage 4) until the final arrival in Arenzano while the East 220K will start from Arenzano and will cover the last 4 stages (Stage 5-Stage 8) up to final arrival in Porto Venere.
Finally the wonderful SEA 50Ksingle stage race (Stage 8, the last) starting all together (Ultra 440K, East 220K and SEA 50K) from Castiglione Chiavarese and arriving in the wonderful Porto Venere.
