This morning, June 14, a serious road accident occurred in Istrana, along the SR53 via Nazario Sauro, involving two cars. The accident happened around 7 and caused the injury of the two drivers, a 21-year-old young man and a 50-year-old man.
The fire brigade team of the detachment of Castelfranco Veneto intervened promptly at the scene of the accident and they had to work to extract the two drivers from the twisted sheets of the cars, an operation made complicated by the severity of the impact.
The two drivers were immediately stabilized by the healthcare workers from Suem 118, who then transferred them to the Treviso hospital for further checks and treatments. Their conditions have not been made known at the moment, but the timely intervention of the emergency services was crucial to guarantee them adequate medical assistance.
