An example above all comes from Château Margauxa famous brand that made its debut a few days ago with over 30 percent less than the prices of the 2022 vintage: that is 360 euros per bottle (ex-négociant) compared to 516 euros a year earlier. This is one of the vintages less expensive which made their debut on the market, after those of 2017 and 2014. The prices of the second wine of the French house, the Pavillon rouge which made its debut at 120 euros per bottle, with a -20 percent .
Reduced prices for almost all Château
It’s not just the famous premier cru that has followed a line that the analysts of this year’s en primeur campaign, starting with the Liv-ex specialists, had easily predicted.
