From the multifunctional excavator that transforms into a pipe layer, to the automated testing program that discovers the vulnerabilities of your company, up to the “anti-hacker intervention group”, which intervenes in the event of an attack. These are some of the innovations presented at the 3rd edition of Pipeline & Gas Expo and at the 1st edition of the cybersecurity fair Cybsec-Expo.

Pipeline & Gas Expo is the main European exhibition-conference dedicated to the “Mid-Stream” and “Oil&Gas” distribution networks, “Power Generation” but also water sectors. And it is precisely companies active in the design, construction and maintenance of gas pipelines, oil pipelines, methane pipelines and aqueducts, gas distribution networks (both primary and secondary) and water networks that Laurini Officine Meccaniche is targeting with its ZX 460 DP 300 excavator prototype. .

“The novelty that we brought to the fair is this multifunction excavator”, explains Lodovico Laurini, outsourcing manager Laurini Officine Meccaniche, “because it offers the possibility of changing the arm of the vehicle according to needs. In fact, we can go from a standard excavation arm with a bucket to a demolition arm that reaches up to 26 m in height, or we can apply a pipe laying arm. With a single machine we can therefore have multiple uses. And all this in a few minutes, thanks to a quick release system of our invention”, concludes Laurini.

Instead, there are two novelties presented by Mosa, as the company’s commercial director, Riad Selmoune, explains: “At this 3rd edition of the PGE we brought two important novelties: the TS 300 YS and the DSP 300 YS. The first is a multi-process machine with all types of welding, in a very compact casing with controlled weights to be able to be transported even in small vans. The second, however, is the new crawler designed to move generator sets and autonomous welding groups on construction sites, without the aid of cranes. It is a newly developed vehicle with an electric motor and thanks to the generation of the generator, we can move it on site with a radio control up to 200 m away”.

As regards the Cybsec-Expo, the market exhibition dedicated to IT security, data protection and critical infrastructures, particular curiosity has aroused theExtended Vulnerability Assessment, hosted by Cylock. “Here in Piacenza, as a novelty, we have the innovative automated testing of security systems. With Cylock, which is a unique Italian start-up of its kind, we bring to the market a new product, the Extended Vulnerability Assessment, thanks to which all companies can test their systems and discover vulnerabilities before hackers do. All you need to do is enter your company name or domain into the platform, and the user will be able to discover all the vulnerabilities and possible hacker attack points”, explains Verando Zappi, Marketing and communication manager of Cylock.

It is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses Ultimate Securebox from Cybersec Services, offering comprehensive protection from ransomware, advanced AI attacks, data loss and network weaknesses. “Our Ultimate SecureBox is a device that has both a physical component and a web portal designed for small businesses,” explains Alessandro Aresi, general manager of Cybersec Services, “But above all it is a solution that brings with it an innovative service: where it is understood that something is happening in the customer’s home, our Security Operation Center can actively intervene, limiting what the damage could be. In the event of a serious attack, we also have a team of experts who can intervene and help the customer restore correct operations.”
