Tagliacozzo – Today, June 13ththe Catholic Church celebrates the solemnity of Saint Anthony of Padua. There are several towns in Marsica that have been living their own for centuries devotion towards one of the most venerated saints of Catholicism. Sant’Antonio is the main patron saint of the city of Tagliacozzo and just today the mayor Vincenzo Giovagnorio chose to share one personal reflection on the important anniversary.
“Today is the feast of our Patron Saint Anthony of Padua! I wish all my fellow citizens to best conserve and cultivate the feelings of unity, solidarity and welcome which made the name of Tagliacozzo noble. Our civic sense be increasingly increased by the awareness that the greater the respect for others and institutions, the more prosperous and serene the future of our Society will be! Happy holiday everyone and may Saint Anthony continue to protect our municipal territory from every danger and bless us!
