They used it a jeep as a ram to break the main window, then the break-in into the shop Chanel in Paris. Some witnesses present took photos. It all happened at dawn on Monday 10 May, a rapid action that lasted a few minutes. L’The attack took place shortly after 5am, on the elegant Avenue Montaigne, and was described as if it were part of a scene from a film. The loot would be around ten million euros.
The robbery
A source from the Paris police explains how the attack on the jewelery shop took place Chanel on the elegant avenue Montaigne. She was burgled at dawn, around 5 in the morning. The protagonists of the heist would be a gang of expert criminals, the methods of the assault would demonstrate this. First they used a battering ram vehicle to enter the shop by smashing the main window, then they fled in a second vehicle, which the Parisian officers described as very powerful enough to elude the patrols chasing him and disappear into thin air with the stolen goods. The jeep used to break through the entrance was set on fire.
There aren’t many details about the group that is on the run. In-depth investigations are underway. There is a manhunt throughout Paris but it cannot be ruled out that the criminals may already be outside the French capital. The Paris Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case against unknown persons.

On May 18th this year there was another huge assault to the luxury jewelery Harry Winston – always in the same street – not far from the Chanel boutique. The robbers, at least 4 people all dressed in blackthe face distorted by the balaclavas, would then be escaped by shooting in the air. This is what some witnesses said. The Paris magistrates are also investigating this robbery and do not rule out that the two robberies may be in some way connected to each other. As well as it is not excluded that the command could be the same. French investigators have made it known that, at least for now, they will maintain maximum confidentiality about the investigations.
