The table at which representatives of the Government and those of the hauliers sat was eminently technical: the amounts of the flat-rate deductions for undocumented expenses had to be established, so to speak. But this has nevertheless restarted the discussion with a category, that of hauliers, who need to dialogue in depth with the Government also in consideration of the many regulations that affect them.
Meanwhile, the Government itself has undertaken to conclude the checks with the competent authorities as quickly as possible and to include in the first useful provision the two rules regarding waiting times for loading and unloading goods and compliance with payment times.
Regarding the reference costs, the need to review the current system of the tables published by the Ministry of Transport was put forward.

On the regulatory decree relating to the implementation of the mobility package prepared by the MIT, the associations have announced that they will send further observations to correct some operational criticalities that still remain.

The Ministry then confirmed that it had defined the investigation for:
– the definitive disbursement of the diesel bonus for July 2022
– the definition of the decrees relating to training and investment incentives for the 2024 year
– the distribution of resources for the three-year period 2025-2027 (240 million euros) as already divided in previous years;
– the reconvening of the round table relating to exceptional transport for the drafting of the overall reform of the sector.
On this topic, the failure to summon the parties who signed the container transport agreement was stigmatised.

Finally, UNATRAS highlighted the need for the Government to intervene on changes to the highway code to review the unfair rule relating to the short suspension for professional licences.
