The final results of the eleven winning projects of the public notice “Youth centers back on track!” were presented this afternoon at the Liguria Region headquarters. promoted by the Department of Youth Policies as part of the “Youth of Liguria… Restart!” initiative.

In June 2023, the winners received a total regional contribution of 300 thousand euros for the implementation of multiple initiatives that promoted the inclusion, participation and well-being of young Ligurian citizens. At the end of a year of work, together with the project partner AliSEO (Ligurian agency for students and orientation), over 100 activities were carried out with the involvement of around 2,000 young people and 115 local entities, including 24 associations youth. Among the themes at the center of the projects were social and youth inclusion, the valorization of the territory and activity in open and shared spaces, but also music, art, sport and culture.
“Truly exceptional numbers which confirm the goodness of this initiative – comments the regional councilor for Youth Policies Simona Ferro. – Today represents an important moment of giving back to the community the results achieved by these virtuous projects, the result of extensive work promoted in the area by the Liguria Region to give substance to youth policies that would otherwise remain only on paper. The initiative leveraged individuals capable of implementing a project that would activate other public, private, profit and non-profit actors to offer opportunities and spaces for youth leadership”.

Below are the eleven projects and organizations that participated:
– “GPP2023”, Arci Ragazzi Liguria (funding granted 29,955 euros);
– “Narrazioni”, Municipality of Sestri Levante (funding granted 25,700 euros);
– “The bar above the sea”, ACLI Genoa (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Around the San Giorgio Bridge”, Municipality of Genoa (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Youth regenerations in progress”, Municipality of Rapallo (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Puerto libre”, Ass. Campo delle Fragole (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “I have something to do with it”, Ass. Giovani Amici Uniti Agorà (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Agorà”, Albenga YEPP (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Young construction site”, Municipality of Chiavari (funding granted 15,768 euros);
– “Stop and go”, Municipality of Busalla (funding granted 30,000 euros);
– “Polis for young people”, Municipality of Bolano (funding granted 18,577 euros).
