The degree course in Food and Health Sciences of the “Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara is organizing “Bee4Food Bee4Future” (Training for the Future), scheduled for June 13th, from 12:00 at 2.00 pm at the Rector’s Auditorium on the Chieti Campus. The initiative, promoted by Professor Tiziana Pietrangelo, current President of the Degree Course in Food and Health Sciences with the collaboration of Professor Angelo Cichelli, who was president of the Course in the recent past, embraces the new challenge that combines nutrition, sport and longevity linked to the common thread “Bees and beekeeping raw materials”. The meeting is open to all interested parties. It will be divided into four moments: the first, “Apenutra” interface for reliable and in-depth information on sports nutrition for the dissemination of highly specialized contents and advice on targeted natural products, with the support of the sister company Aperegina, specialized in the production of sports supplements based on honey, royal jelly and bee pollen, the second “Antibiotic Safe”, certifying quality and safety; the third with “Bosch”, an international company for advanced sensors; the fourth “Randstad”, the world’s leading talent company for insertion into the world of work, the fifth “No Doping Life”, for the international Doping Free certification for Nutraceuticals, the sixth “Functional Evaluation Laboratory”, of the Department of Neuroscience Imaging and Clinical Sciences of “d’Annunzio”.

The “d’Annunzio” degree course in Food and Health Sciences – finally announces Professor Tiziana Pietrangelo – will adopt a bee box, equipped with Bosch bio-monitoring sensors, to monitor the state of health and well-being of the bees and he will receive the honey produced from their box.”
