European elections, 17.36% voted in Tuscia on the first day

Viterbo – Elections in Tuscia. Saturday at the polls for the European elections led to voting on 17.36%,

A figure higher than that of the entire central Italian district, which includes Tuscia (14.67%) and the national one (14.66%).

TO Viterbo cities, however, the percentage again for the European ones stopped at 14.49%. But the most European country, at least on this first day, it is Monte Romano. 41.52% of those entitled have already expressed their opinion for the renewal of the European Parliament. While a Valentano, yesterday perhaps they preferred lake or sea to Europe. Just 9.42% went to the polls.

Municipal elections – Tarquinia – Giulivi to the vote

But there are also the administrative ones and in the 25 municipalities in which the respective administrations are renewed, the voters who yesterday fulfilled their right-duty are the 28.68%. Higher average than European ones.

One of the centers where there is the greatest expectation and also the largest Tarquinia, with 30.85%. But that’s not where voters went to vote the most on Saturday. The primacy once again goes to Monte Romanowith 38.08%.

However, high percentages also a Bolsena (30.54%), Calcata (36.99%), Celleno (36.71%), Ischia di Castro (35.18%), Monterosi (34.71%), San Lorenzo Nuovo (30.57%), Tessennano (36.30%), Vejano (35.95%), Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia (33.18%). All above the 30% threshold.

Where there was a little more laziness in voting on Saturday is Bassano in Teverina, with 22.49%. Only one candidate, the outgoing Alessandro Romoli, and therefore the absence of a challenge must have kept voters somewhat distant. We have all Sunday to reach 40%, the minimum threshold necessary to validate the reconfirmation of the current mayor.

Same situation as Cellere, where there is Edoardo Giustiniani, outgoing mayor and only candidate. Yesterday 23.78% voted.

Just a Civitavecchialowest turnout reached 20.54%

The polls closed at 11pm, with reopening from 7am this Sunday until 11pm.

Counting for the European elections will begin immediately afterwards, while on Monday from 2pm it will be the turn of the municipal elections.
