The rose of revenge, the plot of the June 14, 2024 episode

The plot of the episode of “The Rose of Vengeance”, the Turkish TV series broadcast on Canale 5 on Friday 14 June in prime time.

After kidnapping Ibrahim, Deva’s father, Gulcemal has his men kidnap her too. When Deva sees her father wounded and in pain from the beatings he has suffered, she begs Gulcemal to set him free and to take her place. Gulcemal accepts, as long as she asks him on her knees. In reality, Gulcemal’s henchmen violently beat Ibrahim on their own initiative, the order did not come from him, but Deva is convinced of the opposite. Meanwhile, Ipek, Deva’s sister, despairs: both her father and her sister have disappeared. She would like to report his disappearance to the police, but Zafer prevents her. Zafer orders his men to set fire to Ibrahim’s laboratory, placing the blame for the fire on Gulcemal. In the meantime, Ibrahim, due to the beatings he suffered and the pain of seeing his daughter Deva prisoner of an evil man, falls ill and is hospitalized in intensive care.
Gulendam reveals to Mert that he knows that he married her because he was blackmailed by his brother Gulcemal and that he was about to marry another woman, but that he did it for the good of the child he is expecting: he will have to have a father and mother who love him and he will not have to suffer as she did. At that point, Mert confides that he too has suffered, having grown up in an orphanage. Meanwhile, Deva, exasperated by her imprisonment, shouts at Gulcemal that no woman would want him by her side. She then faints. While he is resting, Gulcemal notices that the girl has a birthmark on her wrist, the same one he saw on a little girl who years before, when he was poor and just out of reformatory, had offered him food: it was Deva.
Armagan goes to Gulcemal’s house with the aim of bringing Deva back with him. Gulcemal agrees, as long as they challenge each other to a game of chess. Only if he wins will he be able to bring Deva home. Zafer, when he finds out from Ipek that his archenemy’s son is with him, immediately goes to his residence. And here a harsh verbal clash occurs between Gulcemal and Zafer, during which the woman expresses all her contempt towards her son. Gulcemal, however, had a faint hope of being able to get closer to the woman. He allows Zafer to have a brief meeting with Deva. Zafer reveals to Deva that her father is dying in hospital and that Gulcemal, obsessed with her, has set fire to her house and her laboratory; furthermore, he gives her a gun to defend herself. Deva sets fire to Gulcemal’s house and manages to escape, but she breaks her ankle jumping from the roof. Ipek reports his sister’s disappearance to the police.
