From 1 June to 15 September, the 1,200 Ligurian factories will return to full operation, weather permitting. «It will be a summer of transition – explains Enrico Schiappapietra, regional president of the Italian Seaside Union – There will be no repercussions for customers but there is still great uncertainty about what will happen after the extension on concessions until the end of the year. Many entrepreneurs who should have carried out interventions to renovate the beaches have postponed the works. Let’s hope that after the European elections a rule will arrive from the Government that will finally clarify the competitions. Some municipalities are starting to move but the same indications are needed for everyone».
