In South Africa, Lin (Xu Qing) transports the prisoner Keith (Tyrone Keogh). When most of the officers are killed following an ambush, Lin escapes with Keith. Meanwhile, Travis Conrad (Ethan Hawke) earns his living as a hitman. Pursued by two henchmen, he is led to Jim Morrow (Paul Anderson), who offers him a million dollars to clean up the failed killing of Keith and Lin. Convinced by the money, Travis travels to Hong Kong, where he manages to steal Lin’s son’s cell phone to pinpoint his location.
Having found Lin, he manages to seduce her. But, when Lin figures out her plan, she kills him. However, the woman does not deal with Red Mountain, the agency to which Travis reports, which manages to bring it back to life with an experimental procedure.
It’s the beginning of The last 24 hoursa thriller capable of combining action with science fiction.
The career of Ethan Hawke
