Barbara Carron, former vice-president of Padova, has died at the age of 51

“When I learned of my illness it was the beginning of a journey, the fear and the discovery of a self I didn’t know. The universe takes away and gives back. I believe that life is based on this balance: Giving and Having. I have made sense of what had happened to me and received so much love.”

With these words, written a few months ago by Barbara Carron, her sister announced her death at just 51 years old, which occurred on Thursday. The woman had been using social media for some time to talk about her illness and send messages of hope, hope and strength.

The message on social media: “Don’t think you have time forever, everything is a gift”

Barbara Carron was hospitalized in the clinic where she was dealing with the recurrence of breast cancer. Originally from Asolo, former vice-president of Padova Calcio between 2005 and 2013, Carron had updated her followers about her state of health until May 25th. “Don’t think you have time forever because that’s not the case. You’re wrong. We think that everything comes back. That there is plenty of time: that’s not the case. Time is an unknown and we must take advantage of it because everything is given away, it is a gift. A wonderful gift that Mother Earth makes available to us”, he wrote in his last post on Instagram, adding: “Everything changes. This for me translates into synchrony of situations that then they create others and others.”
