Following the presentation of the nominations and special prizes for the of the Mimit Cabinet, Dr. Elena Lorenzini, the President of the Culture Commission Hon. Federico Mollicone, the Extraordinary Commissioner of the FilmCommissionLazio Mariella Troccoli, Dr. Valeria Allegritti of the staff of the Secretariat Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Rome, Dr. Francesca Baudi delegated by Senator Borgonzoni, the President of the MEI Paolo Masini, the Director of RAI Productions Marco Cunsolo, on behalf of the ANICA Association the Lawyer. Andrea Canali, the President of the Via Veneto Association, Dr. Elisabetta Calò and the lawyer. Giovanna Silvaggi, for the APA Association the Producer Federico Scaldamaglia.
In the various speeches of satisfaction and appreciation for the award, we would like to underline the words of Dr. Marco Cunsolo (Director of RAI Productions): «Each nomination represents recognition of the talent, commitment and passion you have reserved for your projects . Regardless of the outcome tonight, each of you is already a winner. This, for me, is the real prize, I thank you for your dedication, passion and continue to tell stories and challenge the boundaries of art by giving us the beauty of cinema. Good luck to all of you, hoping to be able to extend, perhaps some candidatures to the television world in the future, no less in terms of commitment and dedication.”
We want to remember two very young actors included in the five and present during the evening: Greta Gasbarri for the film “Mia” and Gianmarco Franchini for the film “Adagio”.
The organization of the award ceremony for the prestigious “La Pellicola D’oro” award will take place on 15 June at 8.30 pm in the historic and fascinating Via Veneto in Rome (at Porta Pinciana, pedestrian area for the event).
The protagonists of the evening, hosted by Sabina Stilo, will be the workers and actors voted by a jury made up of 260 professionals and technicians who acquired the nominations for the Cinema and Fiction section. Without forgetting the youth award and, like every year, the special career awards were defined for the actors Michele Placido, Elena Sofia Ricci and the director Sergio Martino.
The film award, promoted and organized by the Cultural Association “SAS Cinema” of which the president is the set designer and director Enzo De Camillis, was born and aims to support the trades and craftsmanship of our Italian cinema-audiovisual sector which are the backbone of a film.
