Fiorentina quickly turned the corner and already a couple of days after the official end of his sporting season (which ended with the recovery against Atalanta last Sunday) he began to lay the foundations for a new course, starting with who will be in charge of guiding him from the bench. The choice of the Viola management fell on Raffaele Palladino, after the (almost) two-year period at Monza in which he was able to subvert predictions and guarantee two peaceful salvations for the Brianza team.
Palladino arrived in Florence yesterday afternoon, immediately after lunch he landed in the Tuscan capital and waited in the hotel for positive developments from Viola Park, where Minieri, the agent who took care of the details of the contract for the occasion, was working with the Fiorentina management. Agreement until 30 June 2026 (and option) of around 2 million euros net with bonus (starting from around 1.5), he has the task of raising the spirits of the environment, terrified after the defeat in the final in Athens.
Today is the first day of his new position, officially begins his adventure on the Tuscan bench. His trademark, in his head, would be that 3-4-2-1 which was a comfort zone in Monza, but those around him (and in this sense there are also some precedents in Brianza) swear that he is ready to change skin. In the next few hours the club will speak, Palladino will also be a central topic of the press conference scheduled for 3pm.
