Ubisoft Toronto has joined the development of the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time together with the main developers, Ubisoft Montreal.
The studio announced its involvement via X, underlining its excitement in bringing its creativity, experience and updated technology to this beloved classic.
Ubisoft Toronto has been responsible for the development of major projects like Splinter Cell Blacklist, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Far Cry 6, and is currently working on an as-yet-unannounced RPG and Splinter Cell remake.
While the current development status of The Sands of Time remake is unknown, Ubisoft said last November that the project had passed an important internal milestone. However, according to a recent report, the game is still in the early stages of development.
